EXPERIENCE

Operations Manager | Green Mountain Welding, Inc.

            Managing day to day operations of a steel fabrication and steel erection company. Setting up company workflow from estimating to fabrication and installation for miscellaneous metals, pre-engineered buildings, and structural steel. Setting up and utilizing Office 365, Power BI, Power Automate and custom-built software to complete Estimating, quality control of assemblies, drafting, shipping, and fabrication of projects. Writing job descriptions, training, and onboarding procedures, as well as interviewing new employees as needed.

Owner | RCL Technology, LLC

            Drafting and design firm focusing mainly on structural engineering and steel fabrication projects. Work included structural design for high end residential homes ranging from 700k to 20M. Structural design and drafting working in all industries including restaurants, hotels, colleges, and municipal projects. Utilizing Sketchup, Adobe, Autodesk AEC Suite, and other products to get plan sets done from conceptualization to construction drawings. Also creating steel erection and shop drawings for miscellaneous metals and structural steel fabrication companies.

Project Manager | HP Cummings Construction Co.

            Project management from Pre-Construction to finished project turnover. Mainly working on projects from 1 to 50 million dollars. Doing estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination in conjunction with architects, engineers, and owners. Utilizing Procore for submittal management, change orders and financials and making sure projects were built within the budget and completed on schedule. Performing site visits to make sure project supervisors were staying on track and the project was being completed properly.

Steel Drafting Manager | Reliance Steel, Inc.

            Managing a team of drafters creating steel erection plans, shop drawings and 3D models from architectural and engineering prints. Writing AISC procedures for the detailing department and performing AISC audits as needed. Setup and implementation of MRP & ERP systems for tracking drawing status, shipping, and material and hardware inventory. Setup and implementation of CNC equipment so detailing standards were kept and flowed from the office to the shop floor. Having the team output DXF and NC files from the steel models to work on plasma tables, waterjet tables, pipe benders and beam lines. Sending and receiving change orders, RFI’s and general correspondence with clients, architects, and engineers.

Environmental Technician IV  | State of Vermont, A.N.R., D.E.C., Facilities Engineering Division.

Agency of Natural Resources, Facilities Engineering Dept., using AutoCAD Civil 3D/Land Desktop to complete plan sets from preliminary design to finished construction for municipal and commercial construction, while completing all necessary permit applications and incidental work. Working with lead engineer and other team members from the Dept.  of Environmental Conservation, Dept. of Fish & Wildlife, and Dept. of Forests, Parks, & Recreation to complete design/construction projects for dams, forestry bridges, state parks, fishing access areas and other projects.
